I'm both bored and really trying to avoid ironing, even though I know that doing ironing will allow me to wear my granddad's tie at some point in the future....

Do people secretly lust after me? Don't Let The Stars Get In Your Eyes - Dean Martin. Seriously, my iPod seems to hate me. But might not be wrong.

How can I make myself happy? Don't Worry Baby - The Beach Boys. OK, iPod possibly doesn't hate me. Stopping the worrying might certainly help. According to three psychics and two best friends, I look too deeply into things.

What should I do with my life? History Repeating - The Propellerheads/Shirley Bassey. Really, my iPod knows its stuff. This does not bode well.

Why must life be so full of pain? Searchin' - The Coasters. Typical. As Jimbo said: "we're searching for somethng that's already found us." I'm fucked, aren't I?

Will I ever have children? Sarah - Thin Lizzy. This could mean any number of things. At least it's daughter-Sarah song not gran-Sarah song. Also, the album cover I used for this song is the Scott Gorham picture disc, not the Black Rose album cover. Which speaks to a number of things, not least my rock geekness, and could also mean a number of things.

Will I die happy? All I Do Is Dream Of You - Dean Martin. Again, could mean any number of things, but the living a life alone, dying alone but for a dream in my heart seems most likely at this point. Who is the dream?

Can you give me some advice? Stay - Maurice Williams & The Zodiacs. As most people would recognise this as being from Dirty Dancing, this could mean a cornucopia of things.

Do you know where your children are? Come Dancing - The Kinks. Could mean any number of things, but as I have no children but the many unfinished stories I occasionally begin writing, it's fairly meaningless.

What do you think happiness is? The Good Life - Julie London. Snicker snicker.

What's your favourite fetish? Wintertime Love - The Doors. Again, an answer from which a number of answers might be deduced. And I comment upon none of them.
