I do not like my job. It has got way worse since the change from 192 to 11 88 88 especially as it's got customers in a bad mood and taking it out on poor, defenceless operators who are trying to deal with new computer systems that make their computers crash because they've put the new program/database thing on old computers.

Anyway... broke the no reading etc rule at work to write some stuff... including my very first specific song. I've written lots of stuff over a lot of time, but writing an actual song has always rather eluded me, although Dionysus Falling was a way towards it. But! this new song... it rhymes and everything! It scans, it flows! I've only got a year to equal Robert Plant writing Stairway to Heaven at, like, 22... but I feel I am finally on my way there. Have also been singing day in and day out lately, trying quite desperately to remember how to do it. I know I could once...

You're never too young to sing the Zeppelin!

Although she might want to leave out the lemon bits..... Yeah, she's too young!

She sounds a lot like me when I was 8 (she just turned 8, right? I didn't just make that up?) although with the benefit of summer camp.

She just turned 7. But she looks like she's 10 (she has big, tall genes). So when she's 9 we'll have 13 year old boys sniffing around here. We really must build that moat right away...
