Apparently, anRSC web poll for the ideal Romeo and Juliet came out with James Marsters and Keira Knightley. Now, I understand the Keira bit, but Spike?!?!? Are you people on meths? God love Spike (except when he shags Buffy) but as ROMEO? Have you READ Romeo & Juliet?

I'd put money on there having been a sudden flurry of votes from unconcerned parties after someone mentioned it within that particular fandom. As Hermione would say: honestly!.

Also: I just read that Ringo Starr had shoulder surgery to sort out 'bone spurs'. I don't know what they are, but it sounds fucking painful. Hope you're back on your drumstool soon, Ringo! (If one single person even thinks about making a mean spirited comment about his skills as a musician or even as a human being, I will summon all the wrath of God Almighty to smite you)
