On Right and Wrong

I have always thought I had an OK idea of what was right and wrong. For instance:

Phil Collins: WRONG. Led Zeppelin: RIGHT.

And then Elise linked me to the Victoria's Secret 'Angels' commercial. I don't honestly know where to begin. With Dylan's selling himself and the entire beat generation out to the highest bidder? The fact that I'll never ever be able to appreciate 'Love Sick' again without picturing a mustachioed Dylan in Venice with some chicks in blue knickers? The fact that his facial hair and that make him look like some ageing toreador or something?

Let's just start at the beginning: BOB, WHAT THE FUCK POSSESSED YOU?

That said, he looks quite well (possibly airbrushing, possibly not) and somehow still seems quite cool. Somehow he manages to come out of it with the slightest modicum of dignity. But I reckon a lot of the 60s generation who looked to him as a paragon of folky virtues must be really miffed about it. And the eyeliner is actually quite cool.

My parents just saw the ad. Can't you hear the screaming? The wails of 60's protesters are hurting my ears.
Wah.
