What is your place of birth?: Isleworth, West Middlesex, England. It's about 2 seconds away from London and a second or two away from Heathrow. I've only ever been there to be born and to visit my godfather when he had a parish near there.
Where do you live now?: Chop and change between Hertfordshire and Sunderland.
What is your age?: I'm told 22, but I've yet to see the proof in my behaviour or outlook upon the world.
What is your favorite Colour?: Purple.
What color do you dislike the most?: I'm not sure. Possibly puce. Or fawn. Yeah, fawn.
What is your favorite part of the body?: The voice. But only on a very select few.
Whats your favorite day of the week?: Mondays when Never Mind The Buzzcocks is on. Friday when Friends is on.
What is your favorite TV show?: Porridge, followed by Blackadder and Only Fools and Horses. however, a very special place in my heart is reserved for Buzzcocks.
If you absolutely had to pick one fandom what would it be?: Harry Potter- the little corner I reside in. We're really very cool.
What drew you to fandom?: Well, when I first got into Buffy & Angel it coincided with us getting the internet. I went on there looking for info, found fanfiction and the rest is history. I'd been writing fanfic of a sort for a long time, of all sorts of stuff, but it never occurred to me that other people did. As for HP, well, I went looking for the stuff.
I should also mention that me being so much more into the HP fandom than I was in the Buffy fandom is due in no small part togryffinseye who made me get an LJ and Y!M and all that kinda stuff.
Which fandoms are you currently in?: Just HP. I've not been part of the Buffyfandom for a couple of years now, I don't think. No, not since spring 2002.
Your Fandom OTP's (one for each fandom):
- Buffy: Buffy/Angel. That's about it. I like Tara/Willow, Willow/Oz, Cordelia/Xander, Xander/Anya as sidebars, but I don't really care. Mind you, my OTP was always Riley/Pitchfork ;)
- Angel: As above. Buffy/Angel and that's all.
- Harry Potter: Harry/Hermione, Draco/Ginny, Ron/OC or anyone but Lavender unless the writer's actually given her a character to go with her name. Sirius/Remus. I've also read some D/Hr that didn't suck.
What are your favorite characters in order (any fandom): Sirius, Hermione, Harry, Ron (when written well) and so on.
Who's the character you'd go on a date with?: None of them.
|What is the worst website you've ever seen?: Well, the very first B/A one was NC-17 fic that featured such phrases as 'his cold seed' which still makes my stomach churn. I don't know about the worst sites really... I'd say the badly constructed ones, but a lot of people don't know how to do flashy fancy sites. Ones with a lot of broken links and stuff, I guess.
What is the best website you've ever seen?: Nancy's site rocks muchly for the art and fic goodies.
What are your favorite icons in your current user icons?: Well, I like all of them.

- Lyooominous: cos it's anotherlogansrogue in-joke. The dude is Richard Burton and the caption is because the way he says 'luminous' in The War of the Worlds is the greatest spoken sound. Ever.
- OTP: Cos it's true.
- Percy: One of the first icons I ever made, I like it lots cos of the caption. Take it as you will.
- Fleen: Cos the Tasmanian Devil is exactly what he was. :D
- Jim: The first icon I ever made is also my default. It just screams 'don't fuck with me or I'll recite blank verse at you for an hour'. Perhaps that's just me, then.

What is your favorite expression?: 'Gag me with a spoon'. First stolen from Jessica Wakefield and thus turned from a dizzy valley girl saying into a mockney expression of utmost distaste. Also: 'Groovy', 'Bustle in hedgerow'.
What do you want people to say about you?: When? Now? When I'm dead? I think nowadays I don't care what people say about me as long as they're honest. When I'm dead, 'She made us laugh' would be for me, the highest accolade.
What do you have to say about your fandom friends?: You all rock, even when dealing with a trillion kinds of bollocks in real life. You're all great people. :D

(Actually, I didn't dislike him all that much until he showed his colors as an insecure vampire man-whore. :P) Gotta agree with your other Buffy pairings - except maybe Xander/Anya. I never disliked them, but I never found them interesting either. I've also grown to like Spuffy in addition to B/A (*ducks* ;)), though if I had to cast my vote for one, it'd probably be B/A. I think the only canon pairings I actively dislike on BtVS or AtS are Willow/Kennedy and Angel/Cordy. (Connor/Cordy doesn't count, because that wasn't really her, and to count it means I'd have to think about it. *shudders* ;))

Date: 2004-04-07 08:29 (UTC)I agree that was probably what they were doing with Riley ('see, he's a normal guy: so much better for Buffy than Angel ever was!') - but how he was handled was nothing compared to Kennedy. Unlike Willow/Tara where you saw there was a connection before both realized they were gay, Willow/Kennedy was like "hey, we've got two gay characters, let's hook 'em up even though they have zero chemistry - and oh, let's hope people don't care that Kennedy's a spoiled, self-centered, egotistical brat!" One of so very many things that went wanky with the characters in season 7. :-/
