OK, I spent quite a chunk of this evening working out how to use Cakewalk.... and this is the result.

Song to the Siren (Words and music by Tim Buckley. This recording by Clare Worley 25th March 2004. Steal it and I'll hunt you down and break every single bone in both your feet one by excruciating one.)

I know I've posted a bunch of other demo versions of this song before, but this is much more polished and I hope you like it. I'm now going to try to do something else (particularly Dino's 'Somewhere There's A Someone' because bellissima Nancy asked so nicely!)

I'd like to thank everyone most sincerely for all their wonderful birthday wishes. You have truly made my day. I wasn't going to make much of a deal about my birthday besides having a little Battenberg cake, but the birthday greetings here on LJ and in Real Life (it does exist) have made me think otherwise. LOVE YOU ALL!

Happy Birthday! Been gone all day at class so this is the first time I could get myself onto a computer. Hope you had a splediferous day and may the year treat you equally well. It's been great getting to know you through LJ, and I always look forward to chatting with you at the monthly Pumpkin Pie chats.

WAAAAH it was so short!! Only 15 seconds. But wisely, you were listening to the Honeydrippers when you posted it :D Hope your birthday was wonderful *hugs*

15 seconds? Did you let the whole thing load before playing it? I know sometimes the programs stop loading the file when you press play/whatever. Bugger technology, man!

The Honeydrippers rock my socks off (not surprising really).

And my birthday was fabulous- last night my friends gave me a cake with candles and sang Happy Birthday and everything!

I let the whole thing download before listening to it. I always save MP3s to my hard drive then listen to them. All I got was 15 seconds :( But I'm glad your birfday was wondermous :D
