If I read one more time that Kate Middleton is 'middle class' I shall scweam and scweam and scweam until I am sick! Growing up in a £1m five bed house in the Home Counties is not middle class. Going to fancy private schools is not middle class. Being in the kind of circles at St Andrews that lead to becoming the heir to the throne's housemate is not middle class.

Middle class is being smushed by the government from all sides for having too much money to be helped out and not enough for life to be all that easy. Middle class is having maybe two cars, but they were from a Used Car Dealership and were a 'good deal'. Middle class means having enough and something to spare. Middle class is not ponies and polo and five bed mansions.

Sure, compared to the Germans living in Buckingham Palace, Kate Middleton is noveau riche and certainly not upper class, but Kate Middleton's family are not middle class.

Snore at the Charlie Sheen-Denise Richards-Richie Sambora-Heather Locklear-David Spage thing. Has NOBODY considered that these are ALL people who could probably do with the publicity, even if it involves possible child porn? David Spade proved himself as unfunny as usual and Denise Richards' career highpoint is IMO being slain in a hot tub in Valentine, a film so bad it should've had Paul Walker in it.

Did the OKCupid test [profile] mercurial_me linked to. The results?

The Window Shopper
Loving, hopeful, open. Likely to carry on an romance from afar. You are The Window Shopper.

You take love as opportunities come, which can lead to a high-anxiety, but high-flying romantic life. You're a genuinely sweet person, not saccharine at all, so it's likely that the relationships you have had and will have will be happy ones. You've had a fair amount of love experience for your age, and there'll be much more to come.
Part of why we know this is that, of all female types, you are the most prone to sudden, ferocious crushes. Your results indicate that you're especially capable of obsessing over a guy you just met. Obviously, passion like this makes for an intense existence. It can also make for soul-destroying letdowns.

Your ideal match is someone who'll love you back with equal fire, and someone you've grown to love slowly. A self-involved or pessimistic man is especially bad. Though you're drawn to them, avoid artists at all costs.

Discuss.

Kate Burton on Grey's Anatomy. Looks like her dad from a certain angle. I'd still rather he were in Grey's Anatomy, but one can't have everything. Imagine that: a TV series with Patrick Dempsey, Isiah Washington and Richard Burton. The oestrogen levels in the world would spike, I'm sure.

I was off sick yesterday due to another cold that knocked me off my feet. It's got to the point where I'm being told to eat vegetables and take vitamins. I bought some chewy raspberry flavoured vitamins that you're supposed to have one of a day. Now, question: if I eat say, four, in one day, will that give me a blast of vitamins, because I could probably do with it- I think my immune system must be fucked.

Until next time... check out my last post with all the whole music stuff.
