IMPORTANT QUESTION NOT REMOTELY RELATED TO MY WORK RIGHT NOW WHICH I'M MEANT TO BE DOING.

I just noticed in the mirror that my roots have grown out to the point where my hair is almost 1/4 brown again. Because I'm really not up on beauty and stuff, I don't notice these things until it's really obvious.

Basically, I want you to look at me.
Then at him and him and while we're at it, him

Tell me (bearing in mind that I once walked into a hair place and asked for Bowie-as-Thin-White-Duke hair) if I am insane and should never ever ever ask for Morrison hair.

Not insane.

But - hey, I went looking for that Platform 9 3/4 sign when I was in London and couldn't find it! :(:(

*hug*

It's not in the main part of the station. You have to go to platforms 9, 10 and 11, which are tucked away in a corner separate from the other platforms. It's where I get trains to and from where I live you see. It's on a bit of wall just outside there, you see.

I'm thinking it would be a good look for you, but I am also not sure how much curl, wave you have and what your hair texture is. Jimbo's hair appears to have a lot of natural volume, unless he'd just been fluffed up like a poodle.

So, yes, if I put your face there, I can see it looking good. But ask what you'd need to do to keep it all pouffy, cause depending on your preference of spending time on hair and money on PRODUCT.

I hate it now when they refer to gooping up your hair as adding product, and while I can stand someone doing it to my hair, I won't do it myself.

I want to see what you decide, OK?

Many good points there, methinks, bearing in mind that I have no talent for any styling at all- I've barely managed to master the brush.

Don't know what I'm going to do yet, but I promise to try and get pictures somehow when I do :D

You're insane and should never ever ever ask for Morrison hair, if Morrison hair means looking like that. The perm is so over.

That said, I've only ever known you with your hair the way it is now, so I find it hard to imagine it any other way. I promise I wouldn't make you walk on the other side of the street if you did get it done.

Hmm. I was thinking more of 'tousled' than permed, but having thought about it, I'm not sure how one would manage it. My pal Ashleigh mentioned that I'd probably have to use products on it too... so I might just get it done red again.

Yeah, to keep it looking like that, you'd either have to have it permed (see above), or use tonnes and tonnes of product on it. Red, however, needs nothing but an hour or so sitting with dye on your head, and possible shampoo "for coloured hair". I know what I'd go for *g*
