BLOODY FUCKING BOLLOCKING SODDING NAFFING BUGGERING HELL
Tuesday, 20 April 2004 04:25My life is unfair.
I went to bed at 1.30am, which is exceedingly good for me, especially when one considers that classes resume for me tomorrow/today at 10am. I was doing so well, I was teetering on the brink of the sleep abyss... when a car backfired/something exploded/the world ended. Not once, but twice. To the point that, if I hadn't been totally on the brink of the sleep abyss I would've leapt out of bed, flung back my curtains and pulled the blind to see what happened.
Instead, I remained in bed and resumed my place on the brink of the sleep abyss. About a minute later, pain shot through my abdomen to the point that it woke me up totally. So, in order to counteract it, I took something. Something which contains caffeine. Washed down, as it always is with me, by something else which contains caffeine. That was 2.20. It's two hours later and I've seen all of Tuck Everlasting, which I rented on Saturday with my Bond movies.
It's quite a good film, although I don't like the way it ends. I like it, I really do, and that surprises me.
But I still have to be up in less than five hours to head off to classes for which I have done literally no work. If someone has a harpoon/pitchfork/toothpick handy, do me now.
