Where I'm from: London/Home Counties.
1. A body of water, smaller than a river, contained within relatively narrow banks?
Stream
2. What the thing you push around the grocery store/supermarket?
Trolley
3. A metal container to carry a meal in?
Lunchbox?
4. The thing that you cook bacon and eggs in?
Frying pan.
5. The piece of furniture that seats three people?
Sofa/Couch/Settee
6. The device on the outside of the house that carries rain off the roof?
Gutter

Patio perhaps. It's not really a big thing here.

Sub, although hardly well known here.

18. What's it called when private citizens put up signs and sell their used stuff?
Car boot sales. Not like a garage sale- it's where a lot of people go at a set time on a set day (Sunday mornings usually) to a field/car park/whatever and pay a pound or so for the privilege. Sell stuff from a table set up in front of car boot (hence name).
19. What's the evening meal?
Dinner.
20. The thing under a house with the furnace and perhaps a rec room are?
Cellar or basement, although only older houses here tend to have them. Rec rooms are almost unknown here and we don't really have furnaces. A cellar would probably just be another place to store all your old crap. In some places, the cellar is a self-contained flat with its own entrance, like in London etc.
21. Word used to indicate more than one other person in a present group (second person plural pronoun)?
