apollaYou know, on this War of the Worlds CD I was sure they were saying 'overloooord'. Turns out it's the Martians saying 'Ulla!'
I must be going deaf or something. I thought the Thunder Child was some cool chick too, not some ship, but that's easier to explain- it's not necessarily clear in the audio that Ironclad is capitalised, meaning that it's a sort of ship, rather than something that is ironclad. Or I'm just fucking stupid, I don't know.
Still, it's not quite as bad as my childhood notion that the Wham! song was 'Wake me up before you cocoa' and that he was asking his girl (yeah right) friend to make him some hot chocolate before she went wherever she was going.
