Went out to a couple of pubs with most of the peeps from my Journalism class. Would've been better if I wasn't so bloody tired- went home v. early but I did get meself a warm chicken & bacon salad in Wetherspoons, which rocked.

Am well tired- turned up forty minutes late to my first shorthand class today because I woke up at 12... which is when the class started. Had my dad not called me to ask if I wanted a Zep CD set thing (hell yes!) I wouldn't have even realised. Am an idiot.

I have also been putting off typing up a lot of HP DDD stuff and I don't really know why. It's not that I don't want to write or anything, I just... I don't know.

I shall hop onto a couple of bandwagons....

First off, which of these is false? Just reply with the number if you like. Whoever gets it right gets a prize. Don't know what yet, but you shall get something, I'm sure.

1. I was a fan of Joe DiMaggio before I was a fan of Marilyn Monroe.

2. I used to think Harry Potter was crap and just for little kids, even when assured by my friends that it was great.

3. I used to model bridesmaid dresses at bridal shows.

4. I once met the Pope when he came to England.

5. I was once a much bigger fan of Elvis than the Beatles.

Knock yerselves out.

And because I'm a little bit bored....

1. Your name spelled backwards.
Eralc.

2. Where were your parents born?

My dad was born in Trieste when it was an International Zone. Trieste is now in Italy.
My mum was born in London.

3. What is the last thing you downloaded onto your computer?
Either a song by the Specials or something random for the Sims.

4. What's your favourite restaurant?

California Pizza Kitchen. Come to England, CPK!

5. Last time you swam in a pool?

Ages and ages ago.

6. Have you ever been in a school play?

Yes. I starred in the one in Yr 10. I was Ernie in Ernie's Incredible Illucinations.

7. How many kids do you want?

None right now thanks, am awfully busy.

8. Types of music you dislike most?

Phil Collins. Bluegrass. Anything tha might possible make the chart right now.

9. Are you registered to vote?

Yes, but I'm not sure where!

10. Do you have cable?

At home I do, not here at university.

11. Have you ever ridden on a moped?

Nope. Would like a custom made purple Vespa one day.

12. Ever prank call anybody?

No. Don't like phones and had to receive enough prank calls when I was at Directory Enquiries.

13. Ever get a parking ticket?

That would necessitate me being able to drive and having a car, surely?

14. Would you go bungee jumping or sky diving?

Yes. I am Clare and I have no fear.

16. Do you have a garden?

At home, yes. Has a shed, a washing line, a table and some chairs. A tree and nothing else much except some really dried out grass. We're not big on gardening.

17. What's your favorite comic strip?

Garfield. My darling Garfield!

18. Do you really know all the words to your national anthem?

First two verses, yes. Nobody sings the second usually, and nobody sings the third on account of it being anti-Scots or racist or something like that.

19. Bath or Shower, morning or night?

I prefer them at night but a morning shower wakes me up. I prefer baths generally, but don't have one here.

20. Best movie you've seen in the past month?

Well, I saw Casablanca again.... Seriously, Pirates of the Caribbean did rock.

21. Favourite pizza topping?

CPK *sob* BBQ Chicken. Failing that, Pizza Hut's meat feast. Or Chicago Town Mini Pepperoni Pizzas.

22. Chips or popcorn?

You mean potato chips, like crisps? I love Walker's Beef and Onion crisps and I also love Act II butter popcorn. But the crisps win out.

23. What colour lipstick do you usually wear?

I don't.

24. Have you ever smoked peanut shells?

Que?

25. Have you ever been in a beauty pageant?

No. Me in a beauty pageant would be a contradiction in terms, surely?

26. Orange Juice or apple?

Diet Coke. Don't give me this juice crap.

27. Who was the last person you went out to dinner with and where did you dine?

After my first viewing of PotC I went to Frankie & Benny's with my mum and dad. But... had lunch at Wetherspoons with John And Natasha just the other week.

28. Favorite type of chocolate bar?

White Toblerone, I think. Or a Yorkie bar.

29. When was the last time you voted at the polls?

Last time there was a thing, I think.

30. Last time you ate a homegrown tomato?

We did used to grow tomatoes when I was a kid! Other than that, I've bought homegrown expensive ones from supermarkets!

Nope.

32. Are you a good cook?

Yes, when I can be bothered.

Yes.

34. Ever order an article from an infomercial?

No.

35. Sprite or 7-up?

Diet Coke.

36. Have you ever had to wear a uniform to work? How about school?

Had to wear smart-casual to work except after 6pm or on weekends. My primary school didn't have uniform (was the only one in Hertfordshire that didn't) and was better for it. Secondary school had bottle green sweatshirts, white polo shirts and black trousers/skirts.

37. Last thing you bought at a pharmacy?

Can't remember. I know I was at Boots recently but I can't remember what I got.

38. Ever throw up in public?

No. Oh, actually I did throw up at school in Year Five in the corridor coming back from the toilets, if I recall. Wasn't even nearly well that day.

39. Would you prefer being a millionaire or find true love?

I would like to find a millionaire true love.

40. Do you believe in love at first sight?

Not love at first sight. Love needs to be reciprocated to grow and survive, I think. I do think you could probably know at first sight, if that makes any sense.

41. Ever call a 1-900 number?

Nope. Here in England premium rate numbers are 0906 and aren't always sex lines. And even then, the answer is still no.

42. Can exes be friends?

Why not? Stranger things have happened. I don't suppose it would be easy but it's not impossible. Depends how much you'd want it, I guess.

43. Who was the last person you visited in a hospital?

My grandmother when she was nearing death. It was the last time I saw her.

44. Did you have a lot of hair when you were a baby?

A fair amount of fair fluffy hair, I believe.

45. What did you eat today?

So far? A chicken & bacon salad at Wetherspoons and untold slices of bread and butter.

46. What's your all time favourite Saturday Night Live Character?

From what I recall of seeing it in California, I much preferred the stuff they made celeb hosts do. Other than that, I'm a big fan of Wayne & Garth in the movies, does that count?

47. What was the name of your first pet?

Haven't had any pets.

48. What is in your purse?

I don't have a purse. I have a courier bag kinda thing... which has two module guides, a sheaf of random Journalism-related bits of paper, a shorthand notebook, an A4 notebook, a shorthand text book, a walkman, a pair of gloves, three pens (of which only one works), several batteries in case my walkman runs down, a watch, a wallet that I rarely actually use, keys, the swipe card to get into my res halls, random spare change and untold amounts of crap.

49. Favourite thing to do before bedtime?

Drink Diet Coke.

50. What is one thing you are grateful for today?

My dad, who bought me a Led Zeppelin CD set, which I think is the Remasters. He wasn't very specific.
