It's my LJ Anniversary!!!

Yes! I just finished posting my most recent entry and realised that I'm two hours into 16th October 2003 and thus have now had this LJ for an entire year!

I shall recall the day one year ago, sat in bed in Lancaster, chatting to gryffinseye and he gave me a code. I didn't have the foggiest idea of what to write, which might be why after three uber-brief posts on the 16th, I wrote nothing until 5th November when I laid into Bonfire Night with some aplomb, also citing Jamie Oliver as an annoying kitchen gimp. He still is.

I can trace the beginnings of my Led Zeppelin Thing in this Live Journal- the two have rather developed at the same time. There's the occasional mention of LZ here and there, then a throwaway, seemingly meaningless mention of Robert Plant... Then the rest is history!

I have 42 friends. That's less than half of a lot of my friends' friends lists, but I read every entry my friends write. I even take some of it in sometimes! I recall good news, bad news and various trolls. It seems like just yesterday I was sat in Lancaster telling my friends all about Pottersginny and whatever other trolls there were that have fallen into the black hole of time.

I've posted ficlets, I've posted rants. I've posted despairing posts and bouncy posts.I've written my life, basically. If it sometimes seems like there's more about rock and roll music than me, don't be fooled- that is my life. I've made great friends and I hope I've been able to at least offer comfort and congratulations and hugs when people have needed/wanted them, just like they've been offered to me. Hell, I've even become OK at icon-making.

In short: I love you all.
