Have been a busy bunny.
Saturday, 20 September 2003 03:18Have spent ages trying to make icons with the assistance of
gryffinseye. You can find them here:
Iconage of Legend
I now want us to all switch to GJ so I can use them all. I cannot believe it's taken me until now to think that those small square ready-made pieces of art we call album covers might make good icons.
One last thing: saw the TV advert for David Bowie's new album. The man ROCKS my WORLD. Anyone who can poke that much fun at himself as he does deserves our eternal respect and admiration. He is One Cool Bloke. I don't know if you can find it on the net at all, but it's for the new album called Reality and basically he's getting ready to go out and as he walks through his house to get out, he passes himself in his many incarnations. Basically, Present Day Dave has dressed up as himself. It is so weird to see a 56 yr old Aladdin Sane and a 56 yr old Diamond Dog! But all hail DB for doing it and giving me a damn good laugh earlier. *hails Bowie*

Date: 2003-09-19 22:15 (UTC)i could go on for hours about music but for now i will say that David Bowie is a personal god of mine. i have not seen this tv advert of which you speak but i am very excited to get this album. i saw him live in san francisco a few years ago and it was one of the best concerts i've ever seen (and i've seen a lot).

As for the Song Remains Teh Same DVD: http://www.livejournal.com/users/apolla/38684.html. Was very geeky and wrote a review. Was even geekier and posted it!
