HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

I know I've missed a bunch of birthdays after the last few days not posting on me LJ for one reason or another, but I had to stop in to say:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY gryffinseye!!! I know I already told you before, when it was already the 8th there, but I thought I'd shout it out for you.

Without you I would not have had HP DDD betaed and it may then not have seen the light of day. Without you I would not have the very LJ on which I now write. Without you, marquiserachel wouldn't have hers either. Without you, I wouldn't have bothered with Y!Messenger, would not have got as remotely involved in the fandom as I now am. Thusly, I would not have made the many friends I now have. Ergo and to sum up, I would have most probably got bored with it all and left already. It is because of you, my dear Dan that I have all these things, because you were kind and sweet enough to take the time to make friends with me, because you saw the random note on a ficlet at the cookie jar about me needing a new beta. I thank you, dear friend, from the bottom of my heart and wish you not only a happy birthday, but a good and happy life. You deserve nothing less.

PS. And thanks for putting up with the horrid singing. The cracking was foresight- I'm off sick today with no voice at all.
PPS. Will try to learn some *choke* Dire Straits for next year.
PPPS. What do you mean, my icon is obvious? *sniggers*

Thank you for a fantastic birthday wish, and for such a great rendition of Happy Birthday, not to mention the Stairway rendition :D

I was only too happy to take on the role of betaing DDD, and truth be told there wasn't a heck of a lot that needed doing anyway, just the occasional (and they got fewer and fewer as the story went on) grammatical error. I am glad I helped get a fantastic story get out there and receive the acclaim it deserves; and I've always enjoyed our chats, they've always been full of laughs, even when the chips have been down. And I'm glad that you got to know so many in the fandom, because the fandom is all that much better off having you aboard, especially our great ship :D.

And it's not like you have to rehearse to *sing* Dire Straits: Knopfler's singing is not exactly the most melodic around ;)

Thank you very much for the birthday wishes and kudos, and even more importantly, for being my friend.
