Lancaster Sucks

Lancaster sucks. It really does. There's no cinema here anymore, so I can't go see CoS again unless someone takes me in their car. And that's not going to happen anytime soon. Tasha offered to come with me to see it again (if I promise to stop bouncing & applauding, apparently) but she can't drive either. Hmm. I sense a flaw in that plan.
Anyway, just sat through Attack of the Clones. Now I know a lot of you for some reason love Star Wars, so I'll keep this brief- it was better than the Phantom Menace, but that's not really saying much. Was talking to Dan about it on MSN- I really didn't get some of the stuff in it. There's zilch chemistry between our two romantic leads if you ask me and it's really not very well written. But then, George Lucas is not known for his literary achievements. What makes him and James Cameron think that they can write? Honestly- a bloke can storyboard a great action scene and it gives him delusions of grandeur. It was the script that wrecked Titanic (I quite liked the action scenes) and the script that wrecked Attack of the Drones. Clones. Personally I preferred the SNL spoof feat. Josh Hartnett & 'N*Sync' Hee hee. I've probably narked off all the Star Wars fans, but honestly? I really don't care. I hate Star Wars. I can sort of understand why some of you love it, but I don't.
The 'Greatest Britons' final is on tonight. All you Brits get on the phones and VOTE LENNON. He's the only one worth it, trust me. God, I really am an opinionated little bint, aren't I?
Anyway, I got told the other day that I've got a very good chance of getting a First at University. Pretty good news, don't you think? My mother merely said 'Yes? Well, very good' in a dull voice which said to me 'I'd rather be watching Michael Ball than listening to this'. Oh well. It's not like I care or anything.
Well, I'll be off. Got to get those phone fingers working.
Stay lucky!
