TRES IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT.

Good evening all (actually, it's 2am, so what's new?)

I know I've hardly mentioned, but if anyone cares, I shall indeed be hosting the Third Annual Clare's Oscar Party tomorrow night. It'll probably start some time before midnight my time here in London, and because it's 2am, I'll ask you to take pity on me and work out timezones for yourself ;)

Anyway, it'll be on Yahoo Chat as previously, if only because I think I remember how to use it. I'll post details on how and when to join chat tomorrow when I know what I'm doing. I might make it invite only, but chances are if you ask, you'll get in... I just don't want total strangers coming in and buggering about.

So come along, invite any interested pals and we'll get into deep and meaningful debates about the state of American cinema, the patriarchy of Hollywood, the metaphorical themes currently sweeping through popular western cinema and the future of civilisation as we know it.

And taking the piss out of what people are wearing, obviously.

If you want to come along but can't get Y!M or other technical stuff, drop me a comment and... well, I'll see if there's anything at all we can do about it.

Bring your own drinks, snacks, armchairs and I'll provide the scathing wit.

I'll be there - I just may not be 100% paying attention - it all depends on if I finish my homework in time =/

Also, I don't think Yahoo Chat works with making private chats anymore due to a few months ago - unless they re-enabled it and we didn't know it.

I went to see and it said 'Create Room' and had the option of public chat or invite only. I didn't take it the whole way through the process, but it appeared ok.

Well I tried just now (though I only tried it clicking private option) and it looked like it went ok - I clicked inter chat and that progress bar went through and then a little pop up popped up saying chat error - maybe the public option would work?

Hmmm perhaps try when you get a moment all the way through and if still not it - need alternative?

Well - conferences hold up to 12 no problem - so you could start off like that but if it gets to be more than 12 - switch over to something else? We did have that free chat program we used for H/Hr chats. Thoughts?

What was that free thing, cos I don't know if everyone has AIM, although that was Eb's idea. We could start there, I guess... and if lots of people don't have aim, we'll move.

It's been a while since we used it but I found it! Chatzy - http://www.chatzy.com/ and I saw that the chat is on but I wasn't expecting it for another few hours XD so we'll see how homework goes for me - otherwise have fun! :)

There is always conference by AIM *makes face* at least it'll hold the people, even if I'm all eh about how smilies and it all looks =p :)
