Well, I don't know where anyone ELSE got it, but I devised 'Crimbo' personally as a small child. It's simply shorthand for Christmas...

of course, I might have unknowingly picked it up from somewhere or other, but I distinctly remember coming up with it myself at school...

Mind you, I was devastated to learn that my alternate My Little Pony lyrics were spread wide across the country. I wasn't the only one to think "my little pony, skinny and bony..." was a good idea.

And I've never added the h to Crimbo.

Not that I know of. We just do stuff like that to words over here in the same way that we 'ezzify' names like Marianne to Maz. I think it's since they put fluoride in the water, maybe.
