Last Day At Work

I finished working for Three Valleys Water today. They got me presents. I know I've been there since last November, but it was still a surprise, cos I was a temp, you know?

They got me two bottles of Diet Coke, two Kinder Eggs (everyone has desks covered in cheapo plastic toys cos of me over the months) and a joke VW Beetle car... and a THIRTY QUID gift card for HMV. Can you believe it?

I won't miss the work, although it was usually easy. I won't miss going to Hatfield everyday or the bus with the school kids on.

But yes, I will miss the people, who made a job I thought I'd hate actually enjoyable.

And on Monday, I get to start all over again with other people. I hate first days/weeks/months.
