apolla: (Percy)

OK, so I've not been able to get onto the home network in my room for nearly a week now, which is bugging me because I can't get onto the net on my computer in my room, ergo can't go on the net while sitting in bed watching my shiny new Gone With The Wind DVD. This has cut down my net time quite a lot and now it's really fucking me off. I can't see an obvious reason, and when I tried to make a network disc on thiscomputer it told me it wasn't working. ANY IDEAS ANYONE? I can't take this on top of the Cakewalk snafu.

Anyway, now for the TRIUMPH!

So, some of you might know that I'm a bit of a Led Zeppelin fan. Some of you might even know that in the eternal "Page or Plant?" question, I always come down on the side of the blond with no buttons rather than the Satanmeister himself (yes, a cheap shot. So sue me).

Some of you may also be aware that yesterday Roger Daltrey went and got himself a CBE from the Queen for his services to music and to charity, for his work with the Teenage Cancer Trust. He puts on concerts and there have been some apparently great gigs at the Royal Albert Hall for this most excellent of causes. Do you see where I'm going yet?

It's that Teenage Cancer Trust Concert time of year again. This year, Franz Ferdinand are playing on the Tuesday, UB40, Eric Clapton and darling Rog on the Wednesday.

But on the Monday, Robert Plant is doing his bit with something called 'A Night of Gibson Guitars with Robert Plant' which is a bit odd considering it sounds like a corporate cop-out featuring a man with basic (at best) guitar skills. Fuck it. I bought two tickets.

I'm off to see Percy on 4th April. Life is good, despite failing my driving test (again) yesterday. La vita e bella.
