Rich, Mahya and Extreme Ironing.
Tuesday, 10 December 2002 23:10Sob. Rich not coming to Lancs due to illness and work. He was feeling so sick today apparently he stayed in and watched Ground Force on the telly. :( It's sort of good because it means I don't have to muck about and can just get ready to go home. And yet... I know I'll see the boy next week- we're going to go crimbo shopping in London (should be fun) but I was just looking forward to him coming up here. Hours seem to be lasting days at the moment and Friday seems to be so far away....
Went out for Mahya's birthday tonight- went and got Indian food- something I don't tend to eat so I had no idea what do get. And after about half an hour deciding, I ended up only eating half because I'd scarfed down a bunch of soda bread (yummy!) before going out. Hmmm... I sense a flaw in that plan...
There's a telly show on at the moment called Extreme Ironing- people who go to really extreme places (mountaintops, white water, ice) and... iron stuff. Is this what I pay my TV license for? Surely it's a wind up? Mind you, having said that, the British are very, very weird people. Extreme Ironing...what will these bored people think of next?
