Because I've had a week to think about what I was going to post on LJ once I got access back, I anticipate some really random stuff coming up on this journal over the weekend. So here's some randomness:

Feel free to explain your answers (in depth or not, I don't mind) in a comment. I'm really curious, because I know most people don't approach this particular movie, or even the story itself, the same way as me, and I'm nothing if not eager to be empathetic.

I mean I understand why Christine decided for the pretty boy Rauol, but I don't like it.

So yeah, Phantom all the way yo. Maybe it's because I'm drawn to the torutured soul type? :)) I have no clue...but for me it's always been the Phantom.

I haven't yet seen the film, nor read the book, but I've seen the musical and know the songs well.

Raoul = rather annoying golden boy
Phantom = tortured and psychotic soul, emphasis on the psychotic

And while I'm at it:

Christine = weak and dependent

I choose none of the above. I like the show a lot, but my favorite character is Carlotta. *g*

Raoul - don't hate him/don't love him. He is kind of like celery in that respect.
Phantom - very appealing for about 15 seconds; however, severe psychosis and sick/twisted in a bad way. Would be interesting for about a block but after that it is just a long dark road of heartbreak and pain. Not my idea of fun.
Christine - vapid, idiotic. Maybe I should ship Raoul/Phantom?

I picked neither because:
Raoul: vapid and uninteresting.
Erik: PSYCHO. Plus, night owl. I see dawn on a regular basis (and not from the other side of night) and drop by midnight. Larks and owls don't work on a long-term basis, I know from experience. Random murders I could possibly handle but not HIM LEAVING THE BLOODY LIGHT ON WHEN I'M TRYING TO SLEEP!
