I AM UTTERLY DISGUSTED

I cannot begin to tell you how much this utterly, utterly sickens and disgusts me.

WHEN are people going to realise that 'real' does NOT always mean 'biological'? WHEN are they going to realise that blood is often the LEAST important part of what makes you who you are?

Fools, madmen and total bastards.

I think you already know how I feel about this kind of utter and total SHITE. The judge, IMO, is out and out wrong - though Florida could have some stupid law that makes this kind of crap legal. I know that in Texas, if a good-faith effort has been made to find the birthfather and he does not respond to repeated requests to find him and terminate his paternal rights, the adoption agency (or adoptive parents in a private adoption) can petition the county court to terminate the birthfather's rights. It happens quite often. I'm surprised that wasn't done in this case. Grrr.
