Borrowed from pretty much everyone:

Anonymously, post a clue as to who is commenting, the more obscure reference completed with least words, the better.

Knock yourselves out.

PS. Dirty Dancing 2 proved to me that if you hated the original film, you're unlikely to find anything redeeming in the sequel. Especially when Patrick 'pigdog' Swayze is meant to be like, a few years younger than in the original and looks at least 30 years older.
PPS. Saw an episode of Sharpe on UKGold while eating ice cream. For a show I don't like, starring someone I can't stand, I found the death of Sharpe's wife oddly sad. And the whole thing pretty good.

I think.

Are you referencing Quasimodo's first lines in the song Belle in the musical Notre Dame?

I don't, and nor does almost everyone else in Britain.

Well, mine could be walk-in, but only if you took everything out of it first.

I've never seen repeats of it anywhere but BBC2- they went through a phase of repeating a bunch last Crimbo.

I try to tape every episode- although I never saw one that I think was meant to be a Eurovision themed episode.

AND IT'S BACK THIS COMING MONDAY!! THE WORLD WILL MAKE ITS CRAZY SENSE ONCE MORE!

Have a GREAT time at Freshers Week but remember:

1. Only pay subs to clubs you think you'll go to more than once.
2. Don't drink anything that goes luminous under UV lights.
3. Talk to people, no matter how hard/nervewracking it might seem at first. Some people at uni are wankers, but most are good eggs.

I don't know how much tv you watch, but it's odd to live without it. Not so much for soaps and stuff, but for one-offs you might really enjoy. And MAN, does it take the sting out of the boredom part of uni. Find out where your nearest video rental place is too.

My mum and dad took mine up to me when they came up for their first visit- they got sick of having to tape things for me at home!

Other handy been-there-done-that advice:

1. Unless you're going into catering, you don't need more than one or two saucepans and a wok/frying pan of some sort, depending on what food you like.
2. You don't need a 10-piece dinner set.
3. Get your rentals to take you to Sainsburys/local supermarket to stock up on the heavy, bulky stuff like tinned food, bottles of drinks. Especially if you don't drive, that way you don't ever have to drag tons back from the shops on the bus. Make that stuff last all term until the next time they come up!
4. Depending on your living arrangments, see about getting a plastic holder for your shower stuff- easier to carry to and from the showers that way (disregard if living in an en-suite place).

With all that, I shall bid you adieu. If you wanna ask any other questions about that stuff, I'm here for you, fresh out of my fourth year at uni!

Oh, and HAVE A FABULOUS TIME!
