So the Bond movie has taken hold of me in a way I had not anticipated when I started joking about it with Christina.

We have both decided several things:

- Timothy Dalton and Pierce Brosnan are the best Bonds so far.
- James Purefoy should so be the next Bond. Not Clive Owen or *heavens forfend* Robbie 'Musical Equivalent of Loft Lagging' Williams.
- Mr Purefoy may play Bond for a few films, giving the next man a chance to get old enough.
- When he's old enough (ie, no longer looks like he's 17), and has learned to act a little better than I observed in Troy, Orlando Bloom should step into the noble Bond shoes, drink the noble Bond martini and shoot with the noble Bond Walther PPK.

In the meantime, and because this movie in my head has truly spacked my brain, I present this icon.
