Heard a nasty rumour that GWYNETH BLOODY PALTROW will be playing the divine Miss Dietrich in a movie. You know those letters after the names of casting people in movie credits? I'm fairly sure they're made up. Gwynnie as MARLENE? I know I'm nothing close to Gwyneth's biggest fan and this is possibly a predictable response, but seriously.... as MARLENE DIETRICH? Has the casting person/whoever ever SEEN a Dietrich movie? Or a picture of her? Or heard of her?

Also in today's news... I was woken up by the girl downstairs talking SO loudly on the phone that even with the TV on for the news I could still hear exactly what she was saying. Apparently someone called Mark volunteered for something, I'm guessing for a group project, and he hasn't done it yet and I gather it's due tomorrow. Seriously, and I know this is rich coming from me, but BE FUCKING QUIET! It's one thing to hear that someone's talking downstairs, but to hear every single word crystal clear is beyond a joke. I don't need to know about her life, thanks very much. I could tell the phone conversation had ended when she shrieked in that 'God, I'm so mad I could just scweam and scweam until I'm sick!' way.

Haven't finished my feature yet. It's pissing me off, really. The other stuff I'm hoping will be a little easier in coming along, although I certainly wouldn't bet my record collection on it. That said, the fact I've started it is something of an achievement- normally I wouldn't have even done that yet. Maybe I'm learning. Of course, I'm also writing a post-sequel HPDDD ficlet at the same time........

The last Friends is on tomorrow. I seriously do not know how I am going to cope with this. I've been told it's a cliche ending yadda yadda, but that's not the point. The point is that I love these characters and I don't want to have to live without them. I know that may sound sad and pathetic, but I don't give a shit. Mind you, I've seen a couple of Matt Perry's episodes in the West Wing and I didn't think 'Oh! It's Chandler!' except right at the start. That's praise of a high order.

Awww! *Pops in tape of Last Friends Episode and Sobs* Cliche or not I know just what you mean. It's the whole fact that they've got such strong characters and real stories that we've all grown attached to.

So sorry about annoying neighbor girl. I'd probably be pounding on the floor making a racket just to show her what it's like. ;) Hope she doesn't keep on like that.

Hugs,
Kate

Weird thing is, although I occasionally hear voices down and up stairs, I've never heard it THAT loud before. It was weird.

It's not as bad as last year. I was above a bloke who liked to play music really loudly. Sometimes he'd play the Doors/Dylan/Zeppelin, but I swear he never ONCE got all the way through a song and always put on my least favourites. THAT was worse.

That IS worse. Eep, my appologies. At least that's over and done with then. *Hugs*
