Found something weird on Amazon.com. For my dissertation I was looking at the sales rank. 'The Doors', critically and generally most popular album only sold about 500 copies, yet the most maligned album 'The Soft Parade' has sold well over ten thousand. Similarly, 'Morrison Hotel' and 'Waiting for the Sun' have sold upwards of eight thousand.

What can it mean?

Probably just means everyone else already had the good album and only bought the other album because the price was right ;)

Cheers,

Dan
