Re Ukelele: I totally caved and went and bought a chromatic tuner (capable of tuning any stringed instrument) on ebay's buy it now scheme. TOtally forgot to look at payment options (I don't like the bother of cheques) to see if they took paypal. they don't. Will now have to go to bloody post office tomorrow. Have also thus spent another fifteen quid on something. At least I didn't buy a zither earlier (I was this close, I'm telling you).
Actually read the Finance chapter of my Local Govt. book for tomorrow. Have not looked at much else. Apparently I'm banking on coasting along as I always do. I'm not sure that will actually work with Reporting Public Affairs thanks to the Ridiculously Long List of Terms and the need to know every conceivable detail about a bunch of bollocks not even the people involved give a flying one about. Will do more later/tomorrow/Tuesday.

From a fanfic POV, I have IAI (AKA The Sequel That Wouldn't Die) Chapter Two sent off to my wonderful beta dudes. Also have a Top Sekrit new fic in the pipeline which, if done well will shake the very foundations of this fandom. Alternatively, I'll write it and it will be quietly, moderately successful within a small group of people. Haven't started my ficathon fic yet though, but I wasn't aiming for that to be too long anyway.
