A thought on the Marriage Protection Week Hoo-ha.
I hadn't intended on posting today because I haven't really done anything much. But I was watching The West Wing Season 2 on DVD while putting pictures up on my walls and President Bartlet says this in reference to something I believe was called the Marriage Act:
We shouldn't be defining love. We certainly shouldn't be ill-defining it.
How topical. Jed Bartlet is truly the greatest president the USA never had. George W Bush must hate that show: even though he lied about having MS, the fictional man from New Hampshire truly puts Bush to shame. And he just summed up my thoughts on the subject.
