I have an Alienware laptop. Did you go for laptop or desktops.
Alienware is pricey, but they custom build, which is wonderful. They also have awesome graphic capabilities. And when I bought my laptop 2 1/2 years ago i opted for 3 year additional warentee. It was worth it. They usually have awesome customer service but were recently bought out by Dell. So thier Tech support is outsourced to India now I think.
Whenever I have had a problem with my computer though, they've been kind and patient and tried their best to help me fix it on my own, and if I couldn't fix it on my own they'd have me send it in and fix it there, and I'd get it back like within a week.
Some would say that the money they ask for isn't worth it and that you can build a computer just as good for less, but they do have that awesome quality Tech Support and are really good at that.
Plus I adore freaking out people with my Alien eye glowing whenever I turn it on in a dark room.
However, I'm a bit afraid of Vista... and I think my next computer will be a Mac, if just for the fact that I'm an Art/Graphics field.
