Couple of things
Wednesday, 21 June 2006 01:00Casanova the movie was pretty shit. Sienna Thingy has about as much charisma as Paul Walker and about as much skill in terms of acting. The story was piss poor although amusing in parts. The supporting cast were solid, but it was blah.
Heath Ledger, while charming, does not have that special something that makes a guy like Casanova likeable, attractive and irresistible. It doesn't help that this is much too soon after the BBC's wonderful version starring David Tennant and Peter O'Toole.
Another thing: No matter how many times I see it, no matter how far away I get from the days of Zeppelin obsession, Robert Plant still captivates me every time I see The Song Remains The Same. He is everything a person really requires from a rock star, and a little bit more. He is beautiful, charismatic and most of all, his voice is enough to level mountains.
Even if it is stolen from Steve Marriott.
