Haven't updated here with anything of substance for fecking ages. Mostly because nothing has happened to me except yet more nothingness.

Found tab for 'Don't Believe a Word' by Thin Lizzy. Might be able to really make a go of this one myself.

Saw Cold Mountain yesterday. I've never sat in front of the TV for 2 1/2 hours and had nothing happen for that entire time. Felt like going to Blockbuster and asking for a refund for the rental.

Also saw Bright Young Things which was actually pretty damn good. Stephen Fry did a bang-up job on the screenplay and directing, although the Hollywoodised ending could've been better. It also inspired me to start writing yet another; future fic for the DDDverse. Of course, this is set in 2102 and features the children of the children of the children of the original generation.

This has meant finding a few more people for my family tree. I just hit two hundred people. Two fucking hundred. Only a fraction of these people are even in the bloody books. I'd say it's gone too far, but I'm having a worrying about of fun. [livejournal.com profile] chrismiss helped a lot with a branch of the Malfoy tree, while Eb helped with the concept of what the magical world might become for these guys. Also chatted with Brian, who was very nice and helped with my fragile (don't laugh) ego in the wake of like,  three reviews for IAI Chapter Two. *sigh*

Other than all that, the world continues to revolve, I continue to watch Friends and do no work for university, my brother remains annoying, my mother remains even worse and my dad bought me a book today that I've already had in my possession for a year.

Of course, it was a book about Philip Lynott, so I appreciated the thought.

Michael Jackson to be father of quadruplets

It would be hilarious if four more children weren't going to be subject to the raving insanity of a life with Michael Jackson.
