We're playing FRANCE and we're not LOSING!
*laughs* The commentator just called France 'Arsenal'. I know most of you don't have a clue what I'm talking about, but Arsenal *spits* is a team in North London who are the great rivals of my own darlings, Tottenham Hotspur. Aside from a French coach, a huge number of their team are French and a lot of them are on the French team. So I find it amusing. :D
Remember: A victory for England is a loss for France. Therefore it is a loss for Arsenal and so in effect, victory for England is victory for Spurs!
More convoluted, stupid football theories later!
ETA: Hang on, just remembered: the current French coach is going to be Spurs' new coach after Euro 2004. So I hope he's not lost his personal touch.
ETA 2: OK. FUCKING HELL. WE JUST CONCEDED TWO GOALS in STOPPAGE TIME! THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN DAVID JAMES ACTUALLY HAS TO DO THINGS! WE LOST IN A MATTER OF 2 MINUTES! LIFE IS SO FUCKING UNFAIR!
