Nothing much to say really.

Got Bowling for Columbine on DVD today. Is just as wonderful and thought-provoking as it was when I saw it at the Dukes Theatre in February. The DVD extras are also excellent. It has a DVD-Rom teacher's guide feature that looks really interesting but my brain hurts so I'll read it another day.

Might actually have a journalistic story for class. Might not. May not care enough. Place your bets.

Was woken at seven am by a fire drill this morning. And because everyone else took fucking ages to leave the block, we'll have to do it again apparently. BASTARDS ALL!
Am informed that my brother might be home the same weekend I am (Nov 15th etc). Joy of remarkable joys.

Saw a really really interesting tv show about Prince George, the Duke of Kent who aside from having a relationship with Noel Coward and at one point being a drug addict also took part in a secret mission during the war to fool the Nazis into beliving a pro-Nazi coup was about to take place in London. Kinda the opposite of his favourite brother, ex-King Edward, huh? It was v. interesting and the curious side of me wants to know why we aren't allowed the information as to why his plane, which was meant to be going to Iceland, crashed into a Scottish mountain.

I'm clearly feeling quite inquisitive lately. If I keep this up, I might have a shot at being a half-decent journalist. Just a shame I want to be a rock star and/or prime minister then, really.

Not sure there's anything else for me to say. Oh well. Hope you're all good. :D

ETA: In my stroll through the internetscape, I found The Political Compass I scored:
Economic Left/Right: -5.00
Libertarian/Authoritarian: -5.03
How about you?
