Saw Minority Report yesterday after persuading my dad to go to Blockbusters. Gawd, I miss having the UC Irvine Blockbuster with it's easy to reach positioning, it's proximity to Albertson's for in-movie snacking and a shiny, wellused Blockbuster Reward Card. Also saw Bend It Like Beckham, but I've already seen it, so it wasn't too much of a big deal.

I read Eb's Paradise File ficlet last night. Well, this morning very very early. For someone who doesn't do crying, my eyes felt awfully damp... It was brilliant. I suggest you all go and read Autumn Wind, like right now.

Was meant to go and see my granddad in London today, but as my dad was meant to come with me and he had to work at 3am for some Environmental Health related thing, we're giong tomorrow. Hmmm. Last Saturday before Crimbo, middle of London. Fun. Maybe I can persuade him to catch a screening of CoS, something I still haven't seen since the first time at the preview. I could do with it an all. All I've been watching lately seems to be Porridge repeats and Cleopatra.

Been listening to a lot of Thin Lizzy too. Interspersed with Nat King Cole and Marlene Dietrich. A strange combination- not sure what that's going to do to my head. :) I'm also seriously considering turning my hobby (doing nothing) into a longterm life's work of a vocation. Wonder what the Careers people up at Lancaster Uni will say?!?

On a bouncy note- HAPPY CHRISTMAS (It's nearly time and I'm trying to get into the spirit)
