Protests over sexologist movie

Now, having read the grand total of one article about Kinsey, I happen to know that yes, his methods were flawed and he used the project sometimes as an excuse to do shit he wanted to, dragging his wife along (and sometimes not) for the *cough* ride.

But, do these protesters really think he caused the sexual revolution? I don't think he caused anything. It was already going on- he just wrote about it.

Come ON! Let's not start going backwards. These people are more revisionist than Lou Reed

Does this surprise you, given the results of our election? OF COURSE these people want to go backwards. They want all the women wearing house dresses and pearls, vacuuming the carpets in high heels like June Cleaver or Harriet Nelson. Welcome to the 1950s Redux *snorts*

Oh I'm not surprised. Annoyed, but not surprised. I would understand protesting against something political that they feel perceives their cause unfairly... but are these the same people who want to take evolution out of schoolbooks in Kansas?
