Oh. Bollocking. Hell.

OK, so I didn't get any sleep cos of my tooth. Maybe an hour's delirious slumber at most. Called dentist. Got appointment for 11:15, so played Sims 2 for a bit. Go to dentist. He tells me it's not the front tooth but the one next to/behind it (don't ask, my teeth are fucked). It's dying or something. Will require root canal and eventually a crown. Gave me a prescription for antibiotics. Come home. Sleep an hour. Get up. Watch Murder She Wrote crossover with Magnum PI or whoever he is. Go to chemist with prescription. Come home. Daddy arrives home, goes to get prescription. Gives me it, I take first thing.

During all this, I'm more or less in agony. Stopped taking Advil after dentist cos of antibiotics. Started crying at about half past six, so loudly that Mikey, who is home for the weekend, came and looked after me for a minute or two and suggested I watch Buzzcocks vids to take my mind off it. Caved and took an Advil when my rentals got home from shopping. It still hasn't kicked in. I want to grab my shiny aluminium baseball bat and pay someone to just fucking hit me. I really... it's even worse than last January. My teeth are as fucking over-dramatic as I am. I want to pass out until my next dentist appt on Wednesday. I really am in fucking bollocking rancid agony.

The dentist should have given you a Rx for pain medication too. SOmething similar happened to me about 10 years ago (and it was 15-years-later fallout from having knocked out the tooth right next to it). It was so painful I ended up at "urgent care" at 9:00 p.m. on a Friday with tears streaming down my face. Seriously, if you have to, go to a doctor and tell him your upper front tooth hurts. They'll probably take you in ahead of everyone except someone who's bleeding profusely.

Aaaah honey!! I'm so sorry your mouth hurts! I know how you feel, for some reason my mouth started hurting worse than ever since I had my tooth out!! Hopefully it will be fixed and over with. Thanks again for inviting me to stay and watch Buzzcocks!! Hopefully I'll see you soon!! Love ya!

Would stories of my agonising adventures with dentists cheer you up? In July one spent seven hours on one root canal treatment. Two years ago my dentist did something so horrible that you'd probably de-friend me, if I described it more detailed than just "horrible". Yesterday I a dentist treated me, who was really, really good looking - think Gael Garcia Bernal with lighter colours - but after he was done, I was filing him in the category "Must be a sadist - ughh"!

The dentist I had the other day was very nice, hardly Sir fucking Lawwy in Marathon Man. I just wish he'd done more than give me antibiotics. Hitting me in the face would've been an improvement.

I would've gone to Casualty, but having known Natasha to do the same after having wisdom teeth taken out, many people who work in Casualty/A&E/ER here aren't even aware there's such a thing as an Emergency 24hr Dentist. So it was probably better to stay at home screeching.

Funny thing is, the dentist asked if it was really hurting and I said yes. Dunno why he paid that no heed.
