So... ficlets and stuff. A question for you.

Hey guys! So, I spent a couple of hours last night writing this DDD-related ficlet, when I stopped and realised that it was pointless. So pointless in fact, that I wasn't sure I wanted to read it, let alone anyone else.

Which brings me to my question. I do post ficlets- HP, HPDDD and original on here, but I wonder how much people actually read them. I'm genuinely not fishing here- I want to know what you really think when you see I've posted something along these lines. Don't be scared to be honest- I'm really very thickskinned and I'd rather know how you really think than be mollified.

Plus you know, I've always wanted to do a poll, and it stands to reason it should be about me.

I read them when I can, and when I do read them, I love them. I haven't had time to read anyone's LJ ficlets lately, much to my chagrin.

I read some of them, though basically only the H/Hr ones and non-HPDDD related, since I haven't read HPDDD yet. Haven't read a serious and long fic in a long time. I enjoyed all the ficlets I read though.

Just as everyone has said, I read when I have time to. It's not only your ficlets, but everyone's. I'm finding that I haven't had time to read anything in a long time, and it doesn't really look to get much better any time soon. *sigh* If I had unlimited time, I would read everything, but I haven't read more than 2 stories over at the Harry/Hermione fic-athon and have fallen drastically behind in reading many novel-length or chaptered fics that I started when I had time. Sorry!!!! :\

When I do have the time to read them, I love them. The sad truth is that my time available is sporadic lately due to RL circumstances.

Good to know. I figured that the time factor was the most important to most people. I'm just curious about these things, you know?

I haven't read a long fic in a bloody long time either. I don't think I've even read the most recent couple of Lori's chapters either. Time sucks.
